JACQUES GRINBERG
Overview //1964-2010
Exhibition from October 10 to December 18, 2021
As an extension of museum initiatives - exhibitions and acquisitions - of recent years (MAM in Paris; MNAM-Centre Pompidou; Unterlinden Museum, etc.), the Kaléidoscope gallery is offering a mini-retrospective of this pioneer of New Figuration.
For the first time in the gallery, a panorama covering the period 1964-2010 presents a selection of thirty paintings on canvas and on paper, including several major works.
The Kaléidoscope gallery represents the estate of Jacques Grinberg and works closely with collectors, museums and art historians to amplify, in France and internationally, the dynamic of rediscovery of this artist who is as generous as he is vehement. . “One of the roles of painting is to interest man in life,” affirmed Jacques Grinberg.
